14-Day Hear It, Play It Banjo Challenge

Each day for 14 days, you'll build your ear training skills through carefully designed practice:

Day 1: You receive your first "Teaser" video - I play a simple 4-measure musical phrase at both normal and slow speeds. You'll spend 20-30 minutes trying to pick it out by ear.

Day 2: You receive TWO videos: A "Reveal" video where I show you the tab for yesterday's phrase and explain how to hear it Your next "Teaser" video with a new musical phrase that introduces one new challenge

Days 3-14: This pattern continues, with each day building on your skills. We start incredibly simple and gradually increase the difficulty, introducing new techniques like drop thumb, hammer-ons, and syncopation.

By the end, you'll have mastered the foundational skills for playing by ear and gained the confidence to apply them to any tune you hear.

Here we are, day 30! As a guy adding the banjo to the repertoire after playing guitar for two decades, this challenge really was exactly what I needed.
